Amca
An industrial platform acquiring and modernising certified aerospace and defence-component manufacturers.
The Company
Amca builds and operates a distributed manufacturing network for critical aerospace and defence components. It combines engineering, qualification testing, technical-data development and certified production capacity in one operating model, while acquiring and reconfiguring established manufacturers.
The company announced a $300 million Series B in May 2026, led by Caffeinated Capital, at a valuation above $1 billion. Amca said it then operated six factories in California, Iowa and New York, supplying components across hydraulics, avionics and power electronics.
Why It Matters
Amca is a private-market expression of the effort to rebuild domestic industrial capacity for aerospace and defence. Its ability to turn acquisitions into qualified production and repeatable customer programs is more important than its headline valuation.
