Fab2
A semiconductor company building compact, modular fabs and their production equipment.
The Company
Fab2 is building compact semiconductor facilities and manufacturing much of the equipment used inside them. Its model targets smaller, faster-to-deploy fab capacity rather than one enormous conventional plant.
Formerly Atomic Semi, Fab2 filed a Form D in September 2026. Public reporting placed a $500 million Series A at a $3.7 billion valuation; the filing itself does not establish that valuation.
Why It Matters
Fab2 is a high-risk private wager on whether chip manufacturing can be productised and deployed more quickly. Manufacturing yield, equipment reliability and customer qualification will matter more than the headline Series A.
