Infisical began as an open-source secrets-management project and has expanded into a security stack for secrets, identity and access. Its products include PKI, SSH and key-management capabilities alongside its core secrets workflow.
In June 2025, Infisical announced a $16M Series A led by Elad Gil. The company said it was cash-flow positive and securing workloads for Fortune 50 enterprises; those operating statements are company-reported.
Why It Matters
AI systems increase the number of credentials, services and agents that need secure access. Infisical is a private-market test of whether an open-source developer foothold can expand into a broad enterprise-security platform.
